on Monday while he had come home for the last rites of his son, who had met with a road accident, has triggered a massive outrage on social media.

The terrorists posing as journalists had barged into Malik’s house while the family was preparing for ‘Rasm-e-Chauram (post-death ritual)’. They found Malik and began asking him about Army deployments. According to eyewitnesses, Malik’s last words were, “Shoot me if you want to, but don’t ask me questions.” The assailants then gunned him down and escaped.
