Shimla: Himachal Pradesh police headquarters on Saturday clarified that superintendent of police (SP), Baddi, Ilma Afroz has been sanctioned a 15-day earned leave from Nov 7 to 21, to attend to her unwell mother. Therefore, the commandant of the 8th Battalion, Home Guards in Chamba, Vinod Kumar, has been temporarily deployed to oversee police operations in Baddi, until Afroz resumes her duties after leave.
