Shimla: A 54-year-old tourist from West Bengal was among two killed when their cars rolled down the Piling-Nichar link road and fell on NH-5 (Hindustan-Tibet road) in Kinnaur.
Gadadhar Chatterjee was taking a selfie on the highway when Rahul’s car hit him plunging both the vehicles down the hill on to another road. Police said the bodies of both were handed over to their kin. Rahul hailed from Kinnaur. tnn

A woman died and her husband was critically injured after being hit by a speeding car while selling goods near IPS College in Rajendra Nagar. The car driver, who lost control while listening to loud music, dragged the couple for 300 meters before being apprehended. Their three-year-old daughter sustained minor injuries. An enraged mob vandalized the car found with intoxicants.
