Gadadhar Chatterjee was taking a selfie on the highway when Rahul’s car hit him plunging both the vehicles down the hill on to another road. Police said the bodies of both were handed over to their kin. Rahul hailed from Kinnaur. tnn

Three people, including a father and his two sons, died after a tractor carrying over a dozen farm laborers skidded off the road and fell into a canal in Sarseda village. Six others were injured. The tractor, overloaded and navigating a narrow path, lost control, causing the deadly accident. Rescue operations were initiated quickly.

A woman died and her husband was critically injured after being hit by a speeding car while selling goods near IPS College in Rajendra Nagar. The car driver, who lost control while listening to loud music, dragged the couple for 300 meters before being apprehended. Their three-year-old daughter sustained minor injuries. An enraged mob vandalized the car found with intoxicants.
