Two killed in Kinnaur car accident

Shimla: A 54-year-old tourist from West Bengal was among two killed when their cars rolled down the Piling-Nichar link road and fell on NH-5 (Hindustan-Tibet road) in Kinnaur.Gadadhar Chatterjee was taking a selfie on the highway when Rahul’s car hit him plunging both the vehicles down the hill on to another road. Police said the bodies of both were handed over to their kin. Rahul hailed from Kinnaur. tnn

45-year-old chef killed in road accident

A 45-year-old chef, Gopal Suvedhi, tragically died in a road accident near Aradhya Bridge in Lasudia while returning home. A speeding vehicle collided with his motorcycle; bystanders quickly sought medical help, but Gopal succumbed to his injuries. Police are investigating to identify the responsible vehicle. He is survived by his wife and 11-year-old son.

Man, his two sons killed in road accident

Three people, including a father and his two sons, died after a tractor carrying over a dozen farm laborers skidded off the road and fell into a canal in Sarseda village. Six others were injured. The tractor, overloaded and navigating a narrow path, lost control, causing the deadly accident. Rescue operations were initiated quickly.

Car hits couple selling goods on road; woman killed, husband critical

A woman died and her husband was critically injured after being hit by a speeding car while selling goods near IPS College in Rajendra Nagar. The car driver, who lost control while listening to loud music, dragged the couple for 300 meters before being apprehended. Their three-year-old daughter sustained minor injuries. An enraged mob vandalized the car found with intoxicants.
