Maha man, paraglider rescued day after crash
Kullu: A tourist from Maharashtra and his paragliding tandem pilot, both of whom went missing after the latter crash-landed in the mountains near Bir Billing in Himachal’s Kangra district on Saturday night, were found the next morning.
An official said pilot Ajay crash-landed in the mountains above Thathi village, 10km from Baijnath, with Yogesh, a resident of Thane in Maharashtra.

Both of them were injured in the incident and chose to spend the night there. Next day they got in touch with a local search and rescue team, which, accompanied by police, rushed to the crash site and brought them down to Baijnath. They were taken to a hospital in Baijnath and their condition is stable, the official added. tnn
