SHIMLA: Three people were killed when a vehicle they were travelling in fell into a deep gorge in
Kamand area
of Mandi district on Friday late night. Police have registered a case and started probe to know the exact reasons that led to this fatal accident.
According to police officials, the accident took place in
Karha village
under Navayay panchayat of Kamand area. The ill-fated vehicle fell into 200-feet-deep gorge.
Bhupinder Sharma
(24) of Balt village under Balh police station of Mandi district died on the spot while Lovedeep (18) of Samlon vllage from Balh block died at Zonal Hospital Mandi.
Nidhi Singh of Mehva village in Kangra district was referred to
Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital Shimla
but he died on the way. Nidhi Singh was working as a salesman at a petrol pump in Kamand.
Police have registered a case under sections 279,337,304A of IPC Act at Padhar police station. Postmortem proceedings are being done at Zonal Hospital Mandi and Indira Gandhi medical College Shimla.
