CM pushes for development projects in Kangra

Kullu: CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Sunday held a detailed discussion on the developmental projects in Kangra district with the Congress leaders. He said the state govt was prioritising the progress of the Kangra and had launched several schemes over the last two years to ensure its holistic development. The CM said Kangra had been accorded the status of “tourism capital” of HP and various initiatives were underway to promote both adventure and religious tourism in the region. Bihar Govt working on comprehensive tourism development plan: Min

Tourism minister Nitish Mishra revealed that the Bihar government is focusing on religious, eco, and adventure tourism post-Covid. Proposals to develop Matsyagandha Lake, Valmiki Nagar, and Punaura Dham have been submitted to the Centre. The state plans to improve tourist facilities, construct hotels, and launch home stay schemes, covering 29 tourist spots in 15 districts.

Haryana tourism plans revival with new projects and digital push

Haryana Tourism's review meeting, chaired by minister Arvind Kumar Sharma, discussed strategies to revitalize tourism and address financial losses. Key proposals included transforming Yadavindra Gardens into a wedding destination and promoting Kurukshetra as a religious hub. Projects highlighted under Swadesh Darshan Scheme 2.0 include the adventure tourism hub at Tikkar Taal and the rejuvenation of Yadavindra gardens.
