Shimla: The ruling BJP and Opposition Congress locked horns in the HP state assembly during discussion on budget when after the lunch break Congress MLA Jagat Singh Negi’s remarks about Prime Minister Narendra Modi left the BJP MLAs enraged and they objected to the words used by MLA. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Bhardwaj said those remarks made about the Prime Minister could not be part of the proceedings of the House. Amid the noisy scene, chief minister Jai Ram Thakur, other ministers and leader of opposition also reached the House. The matter was settled after intervention of the CM and Speaker

Vipin Singh Parmar

gave the ruling to expunge objectionable remarks from the proceedings. During the discussion on the budget, which started after the lunch break in the

House

, there was a ruckus again as soon as Congress MLA Jagat Singh

Negi

spoke. Like every time, this time too, as soon as Negi spoke, he commented on the Prime Minister’s poster regarding the prices of petrol and diesel. Although what he said was expunged from the proceedings, but parliamentary affairs minister Suresh Bhardwaj strongly opposed him in this matter.
Bhardwaj got angry and agitated. On this, the ruling MLAs also supported him fiercely and at one point such a time came that the entire ruling party was seen cornering Negi.
Chief minister Thakur also reached inside the House at that time and he also raised his objection.
