Manmeet Singh went missing in
Liyun Khad
near Mcleodganj after which a search operation was launched to trace him.
According to sources, on Tuesday late evening body of Manmeet Singh a resident of Amritsar was missing in Liyun Khad near Mcleodganj since Monday has been recovered by search and rescue team. Manmeet Singh was one of the singers of
Sain Brothers
known for their sufi songs.
He along with some friends had come to Dharamshala and had gone further to Kareri lake where he slipped and fell into a nullah and was swept away in the gushing water. Rescue team on Tuesday late evening recovered his body and it was brought to Dharamshala during the wee hours of Wednesday.
Sources said that post-mortem of body would be conducted at government hospital Dharamshala after which it would handed over to the family members.
