DHARAMSHALA: The body of a 12th class student in district Chamba was found hanging with a tree on way to his school late Sunday evening. The boy was missing since last four days. He had left home on Wednesday to appear in an exam of home sciences but did not reach school. The family started looking for the deceased but in vain.
The family later registered a missing complaint with the police which was looking for the boy in Baror panchayat and found the body hanging from a tree.
The spot is located around 14 KMs away from district headquarters. Police told that the deceased has been identified as Dinesh Bijlwan (17) a resident of Dabola village.
DSP Jitender Choudhary told that the family members were informed and the body was brought down from the tree in front of them. “We are investigating the reason behind the death” he said. The body will be sent for the postmortem after which the time and reason of the death could be ascertained.
