Results of 88 HP govt jobs announced

Shimla: The Himachal Pradesh Rajya Chayan Aayog has declared the results for 88 posts across five groups of govt jobs. The secretary of the aayog, Vikram Mahajan said the result has been declared for 82 posts of junior office assistant information technology, two posts of copy holder, two posts of workshop instructor (pattern making), and one post of workshop instructor (architecture). No candidate has been found eligible for one post of psychologist-cum-rehabilitation officer, he added. Results have been uploaded at the aayog’s website hprca.hp.gov.in. TNN

Govt picks 50 supporters for corpn posts

Shiv Sena (UBT) claims recent appointments in Maharashtras state-run corporations by the MahaYuti government are illegal due to the model code of conduct. They allege over 50 functionaries from BJP, Shiv Sena, and NCP were appointed ahead of elections to retain supporters. The issue will be raised with the Election Commission for review.

CM asks Niti Aayog to make state specific policies

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami emphasized Uttarakhand's need for special policies due to its unique geographical and strategic challenges during a meeting with NITI Aayog's vice chairman. He highlighted the River Linking Project and infrastructure strain from tourism. Dhami also discussed the Empowered Uttarakhand Initiative aimed at doubling the state's economy by 2027.

Youtuber removes post

A complaint has been lodged against YouTuber Irfan for posting a video showing him cutting his newborn's umbilical cord at a Chennai hospital. The directorate of medical and rural health services has issued a notice to the hospital and reported the involved doctor to the state medical council. Irfan removed the post following the directives.
