SHIMLA: Former chief minister and leader of opposition Jairam Thakur said on Friday that as the Himachal Pradesh police is busy in finding out who served the samosas to the staff instead of the chief minister, the entire country has come to know about the state government priorities.
“The interest, development, public welfare of Himachal Pradesh and Himachalis are nowhere in Sukhu government’s priorities,” said Thakur while speaking to the mediapersons in Mandi.
The former chief minister claimed that the mafia is raising its head in the state, law and order has deteriorated and daylight shooting incidents are being reported.
“The CID in the state is responsible for many tasks. It has a major role in the law and order of the state, but what work is it engaged in today, the whole country is watching. This is a matter of concern,” said the leader of opposition.
Thakur added that the chief minister should take strict and decisive action against the alleged corruption in the state so that the development of the state can be accelerated and the people could take its benefit.
