Defence Minister Rajnath Singh urged the private sector to take the lead in defence innovation and R&D. Emphasizing modern warfare's evolving nature, he highlighted government efforts to support technology development through DRDO's funding schemes. Since its inception, the technology development fund has backed 79 projects, with 18 successfully reaching technological advancement, Singh noted.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh urged the private sector to take the lead in defence innovation and R&D. Emphasizing modern warfare's evolving nature, he highlighted government efforts to support technology development through DRDO's funding schemes.
