Shimla: Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu met Union minister for road transport and highways Nitin Gadkari in New Delhi on Thursday to discuss various road, bridge and ropeway projects, and sought assistance from the Centre.
Sukhu submitted a proposal for four new road projects in the state to Gadkari, stating that strengthening the road network is of utmost importance for facilitating tourism and overall development, as roads are the lifeline of the hill state. tnn
