Addressing grievances priority: Sukhu

Kullu: Himachal chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said on Tuesday that addressing public grievances is the top priority for the present state govt. As part of this commitment, the govt has launched the “Sarkar Gaon ke Dwar” initiative, which began from the remote Dodra Kwar area of the Shimla district recently.

Police grievance cell formed

Lucknow's Police Commissioner has launched a dedicated "Police Grievance Cell" to swiftly address concerns of its personnel. This initiative aims to resolve issues like salary discrepancies and nominee details, eliminating the need for officers to frequently visit headquarters. The cell, operating under the public complaints cell, ensures timely responses and updates on complaints submitted via prayer letters or WhatsApp.

Kolkata metro organises grievance redressal camps

Kolkata Metro Railway held grievance camps at various stations on October 30th as part of Vigilance Awareness Week, themed "Culture of Integrity for Nation's Prosperity." The camps, overseen by the deputy chief vigilance officer, aimed to raise awareness against corruption and provided a platform for passengers and staff to submit grievances for prompt resolution.
