Promises unmet, no work on ground, says HP BJP chief

Shimla: Himachal BJP president Dr Rajeev Bindal on Saturday said that the party has organised a ‘Jan Akrosh’ movement to highlight failures of the state govt in the past two years. “People are now out on streets to question the Congress govt on their unfulfilled promises,” he claimed. He added, “Due to public anger, the chief minister, deputy CM and ministers have started making all kinds of statements in panic, but nothing has been done on the ground. People are in distress and the Congress govt is happy serving its friends. The treasury is full for friends, but empty for the public.” During a press meet, Bindal claimed that in the past two years, the Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu-led government has only abused the BJP. tnn
