Himachal all set for PM rally as campaign reaches climax

Shimla: With Himachal Pradesh all set for voting for the four Lok Sabha seats and six assembly seats on June 1, the political temperature of the state is going to rise.
In the last phase of the elections, along with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the top leadership of the Congress is also heading for the hills. Amid all the top guns bracing up to intensify the poll campaign for their respective parties, all eyes are on the historic Chaugan Maidan of Nahan in Sirmaur district. On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will first address an election rally at Chaugan Maidan after which he will address another rally at Paddal Ground of Mandi district.
This will be followed by Union home minister Amit Shah and AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge addressing the election rallies in the state on Saturday.
Shah and Kharge will address rallies on the same day: May 25. On the same day, Kharge will address an election rally at Rohru in Shimla district. Two days after Modi’s rally, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will also address an election rally at Chaugan Ground of Nahan on Sunday. According to the information, on May 26, Rahul will address two election rallies: in Nahan and Una.
AICC general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will address rallies in Mandi, two places in Shimla and Solan on May 27, 28, 29 and 30. She will address two election rallies in Rohru and Nerwa areas of Shimla.
