Music festival on lines of ‘Sunburn’ in Dharamshala
Shimla: A unique fusion of music and culture, reminiscent of international festivals like ‘Tomorrowland’ and ‘Sunburn’, will soon be held at the Dharamshala police ground.
Himachal chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Tuesday said such festivals in the hill state boost the local economy by attracting tourists. “It leads to increased business activities, benefiting the small businesses, including hoteliers, restaurant owners and local shopkeepers,” he said.
Sukhu, who held meetings with the producer of famous shows and the organiser of the festival, took details of the event and ensured to provide all support for it.
The producer apprised the CM that the event would be organised in collaboration with ‘Warner Music’ and aims to blend global music, sustainability, wellness, and the region’s rich cultural heritage, offering world-class performances, environmental workshops, retreats, and cultural exhibitions.
