SHIMLA: After protracted deliberations, the Congress on Saturday came out with its third list of nominees for the Himachal Pradesh polls, naming candidates for 4 out of remaining 5 seats. However, no consensus has emerged on the choice for Hamirpur seat.

Yadavinder Goma will contest from Jaisinghpur, Bhuvneshwar Gaur from Manali, Kirnesh Jung from Paonta Sahib and Jagat Singh Negi from Kinnaur. With this, the party has now announced candidates on 67 seats out of the total 68.

Voting for the assembly polls is scheduled for November 12, while the counting of votes will be done on December 8. Nominations for the assembly elections are already on, with October 25 being the last day for filing papers.

In the Jaisinghpur assembly constituency, Sushil Kaul and Yadavinder Goma were vying for the ticket, but the party high command finally decided on Goma, who is a former MLA.

Kinnaur (ST) assembly seat saw an intense battle for the ticket between sitting MLA Jagat Singh Negi and state youth Congress president Nigam Bhandari.
