CM visits Balika Ashram at Kalpa

Shimla: Chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Sunday visited ‘Balika Ashram’ at Kalpa in Kinnaur district. He said the state govt was committed to support the orphan children and was continuously working for their welfare. Interacting with the Balika Ashram girls, Sukhu encouraged them to focus on their education and strive for success in life. He also announced a Diwali gift of Rs 25,000 for each inmate of the Ashram and presented track suits to them. Sukhu also offered prayers at the Bodh temple in Kalpa.
