31 roads blocked in HP due to fresh snowfall

Kullu: As many as 31 roads were blocked, most of them in Lahaul-Spiti, due to fresh snowfall in the upper reaches of Himachal Pradesh on Thursday. Rainfall was also recorded at isolated places in middle and lower hills of the state.According to the weather department, Shimla, Bhuntar, Manali, Mandi and Kufri recorded a rainfall of 0.2 mm, 0.5 mm, 3 mm, 4 mm, and 2 mm, respectively, by 5.30 pm on Thursday.Una remained the hottest place in the state with a maximum of 33.2 degrees Celsius.The weather department has predicted light to moderate rain in the low, middle and high hills of the state till March 20.TNN
