Shimla: At least 30 passengers were injured when a bus en route to Tanakpur in Uttarakhand from Shimla hit a tipper and overturned near a tunnel at Kandaghat in Solan district on Wednesday afternoon.
Of the injured, four with serious injuries were referred to IGMC, Shimla and two to Solan regional hospital. The rest were provided treatment at the Kandaghat hospital after which they were discharged.
Most of them were labourers from Nepal who were returning to their country after completing work in the apple orchards of Himachal Pradesh.
The bus they were travelling in was of Uttarakhand Transport Corporation.
