Will take up delay in CUET test with Centre: Meghalaya CM

Shillong: CM Conrad K Sangma on Thursday assured to take up with central authorities the concerns raised regarding the delay in the conduct of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) at the North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) campus in the city on Wednesday.
The English test, which was to be held at 3 pm, was delayed by more than two hours because the biometric system was not working, following which the NEHU had to get clearance from the NTA (National Testing Authority) in New Delhi to allow students to appear for the examination without biometric system.Pointing out that CUET was not handled by the state govt, the CM, however, said the matter could be taken up with the appropriate authorities.
