Top BSF officer reviews int’lborder security in Meghalaya

Shillong: ADG BSF (Eastern Command), Kolkata, Ravi Gandhi reviewed the current security scenario and discussed various operational and administrative aspects of border management during his two-day visit to the BSF Frontier Meghalaya, which ended on Saturday. He also called on state chief secretary DP Wahlang and director general of Meghalaya Police, LR Bishnoi, on Saturday.“The ADG also visited the under construction Composite Hospital Mawpat. Later, the ADG, along with IG BSF Meghalaya, visited the bordering areas of Border Out Post Dawki, Pyrdwah, and Lyngkhat and interacted with field commanders and troops. The ADG applauded the efforts and dedication of BSF personnel in safeguarding the international border of Meghalaya,” a BSF statement said.
