SHILLONG: The North Eastern Hill University (Nehu), Shillong has achieved 2nd position in the teacher-student ratio category of the esteemed QS World University Rankings: Asia.
“This remarkable achievement underscores Nehu’s unwavering commitment to providing students with an exceptional academic experience characterized by personalized attention and high-quality instruction,” a statement issued by the university said on Thursday.

The QS World University Rankings: Asia are widely recognized as a global benchmark for evaluating the performance of universities worldwide. Nehu’s stellar performance in the teacher-student ratio category reflects its dedication to foster an environment where students receive the individualized support they need to thrive academically, the statement added.

Myanmar, Cambodia, and Nepal are included for the first time. The Senior Vice President of QS, Ben Sowter, commented on India's achievement, highlighting the growth of Indian institutions and their research contributions.
