Shillong: President Droupadi Murmu on Friday expressed her keen interest in the overall growth of Meghalaya and assured her continued support to the state during a meeting with governor CH Vijayashankar, who made a courtesy call on the President at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.“The meeting was a cordial exchange that focused on various issues concerning the overall development and welfare of Meghalaya,” a communique issued by the governor’s office said on Friday.“The President expressed her keen interest in Meghalaya’s growth and assured her continued support to the state’s developmental aspirations,” the communique highlighted.
