Meghalaya wins ODOP award

Shillong: Meghalaya received the second runner-up award for its unwavering dedication to promote the One District, One Product (ODOP) initiative at an event organized by the department for promotion of industry and internal trade at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi on Wednesday, which was inaugurated by Union external affairs minister, S. Jaishankar.The awards intends to celebrate the incredible efforts of states or UTs, districts, and Indian missions in fulfilling the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat through the ODOP initiative.“The award is a motivation for our farmers and skilled artisans.” chief minister Conrad K Sangma said.
