Meghalaya: Election expenditure observers arrive

SHILLONG: The district election officer, East Khasi Hills, on Wednesday said the election expenditure observers for the upcoming assembly election have arrived in Shillong and are staying at the State Convention Centre.
They may be contacted over mobile phones from 3 pm to 4 pm every day for any queries, complaints or information related to the polls, the officer added.
In North Garo Hills, election expenditure observer Prashant Kumar Sinha has arrived and is stationed at Resubelpara Circuit House, Room No 3.
The district election officer informed the public that any complaint, query, information relating to violation of model code of conduct may be lodged with the expenditure observer between 10.30 am to 11.30 am and may be reached at 6009396063.
