IIM-Shillong joins hands with Thailand institute for academic-cultural exchange

Shillong: An MoU was signed between IIM Shillong and the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand on Friday to foster collaboration between the two institutions, enhancing academic and cultural exchanges through mutual support, specifically focusing on teaching and research endeavors.
The signing ceremony was attended by IIM Shillong director DP Goyal and acting VP for academic affairs at AIT, Nitin K Tripathi.“The objective is to facilitate collaboration between IIM Shillong and AIT Thailand through programmes such as international dual/joint masters and doctoral programmes, faculty/student exchanges, joint research projects, internships for students, and sharing resources such as library database, journals, and online resources to enhance the academic and research capabilities of staff and students from both institutions,” an IIM spokesperson said.
