East Khasi Hills DC to conduct training for Agniveer exam

Shillong: The office of the deputy commissioner, East Khasi Hills, Shillong, is planning to conduct pre-recruitment training for the youth of the district for enrolment as AGNIVEER in the armed forces.According to a statement issued by the DC’s office today, candidates who qualify in the physical and basic medical screening will undergo extensive classroom coaching classes for a month to prepare for subsequent ‘Common Entrance Examination’ which would be advertised by the armed forces.“All interested candidates must register for undergoing the pre-recruitment training by filling the Google form under the link https://megedistrict.gov.in/directApply.do?serviceld=1158,” the statement said. As per basic requirement for enrolment into the pre-recruitment training, a candidate should be a permanent resident of the East Khasi Hills district and the age at the time of enrolment for recruitment is 17 years and 6 months up to 21 years.
