BJP to expand footprint in Meghalaya
Shillong: The Meghalaya state unit of BJP on Monday hailed the newly formed Narendra Modi govt at the Centre, saying it has “filled every leader and member of the party in Meghalaya with renewed vigour and aspiration”.
“With the BJP-led NDA govt back at the nation’s helm of affairs, BJP Meghalaya is set to ensure that the people-friendly and pro poor policies of the Centre reach every nook and corner of the state over the next five years.

The historic third mandate to Narendra Modi has galvanised every member of the party and the state unit stands ready to strengthen its mass appeal among the citizens of Meghalaya,” the party said.
The state BJP, under its president Rikman G Momin, is strengthening its organisation at “every level and aims to increase its member base manifolds” in the near future.
Mariahom Kharkrang, chief spokesperson for Meghalaya BJP, said, “Our best wishes are with Narendra Modi and his experienced council of ministers. Over the last decade, the central govt under the leadership of our PM has created policies for the benefit of every section of society, especially for those who until now had remained deprived. Our mission is to ensure that these schemes, aimed at uplifting the lives of ordinary citizens, reach every citizen of the state”.
