Shillong: The BSF has apprehended a tout from Bangladesh near the international border in East Khasi Hills district for facilitating cross-border smuggling, reports Manosh Das. He has been identified as Mohammad Mijan Mia, 49, a resident of Sunamganj district in Bangladesh.“Acting on specific info, troops of 193 Bn BSF Meghalaya in a joint operation with local police apprehended the Bangladeshi smuggler from the jungle area near the international border on Saturday.
