SALEM: The
Salem railway division
has got a new senior divisional commercial manager with E Hari Krishnan taking charge of the post on Friday. He succeeds A Vijuvin, who has been transferred to Chennai.
An officer of 2008-batch Indian Railway Traffic Service, Hari Krishnan brings with him a vast experience. He has served at Chennai division, Madurai division, and Palakkad
division
in various capacities.
Hari Krishnan has served as the senior traffic manager (freight), headquarters of Southern Railway; senior divisional operations manager, Salem; and senior divisional commercial manager, Madurai division.
His project on ‘smart fuel tanks to optimize fuel cost and diesel loco utilization’ received the first position in National Academy of Indian Railways, Vadodara, in 2016. In addition to civil engineering, Hari Krishnan has completed training in high speed railway from Japan International Cooperation Agency in Japan.
