Karur-Salem passenger special train to run for six more months

Southern Railway's Salem division has announced that the Karur-Salem DEMU (diesel–electric multiple unit) passenger special train service will be extended for six more months.

SALEM: Southern Railway's Salem division has announced that the Karur-Salem DEMU (diesel–electric multiple unit) passenger special train service will be extended for six more months.
Salem divisional railway manager U Subba Rao has said No 06833 Karur-Salem and No 06834 Salem- Karur DEMU passenger special train services via Namakkal will be extended for six more months from February 5 to August 5 (except on Sundays).
Karur-Salem DEMU passenger special train will leave Karur at 11.35am. It will have stoppages at Vangal (11.48am), Mohanur (11.57am), Namakkal (12.20pm), Kalangani (12.33pm), Rasipuram (12.50pm) and Mallur (1pm). It will reach Salem Junction at 1.20pm.
Train No 06834 Salem – Karur DEMU special passenger train will leave Salem Jn at 1.30pm and will have stoppage at Mallur (1.42pm), Rasipuram (1.52pm), Kalangani (2.10pm), Namakkal (2.23pm), Mohanur (2.42pm) and Vangal 3.00pm. It will reach Karur at 3.20pm.
