Human Resource Tamil Conference 2025 held in Hosur

KRISHNAGIRI: Human Resource Tamil Conference (HRTC) 2025 took place in Denkanikottai in Krishnagiri district on Monday and Tuesday.

More than 400 HR professionals from prominent organizations throughout Tamil Nadu, along with Tamil HR experts from three different countries, participated in the conference.

The conference was inaugurated by Hosur MLA Y Prakash and Hosur mayor Sathya.

The ceremonial lighting of the traditional lamp was conducted by Israel Inbaraj, a founding member of HRTC, Deenadayalan, a senior HR professional, Sebastian, the president of the NHRDN Hosur chapter, and Swapna, joint secretary of the NHRDN Hosur chapter.

The agenda featured a panel discussion titled "Who is HR for?" led by Louis Babu, head of HR at Magna, a dialogue on “HR Experiences at Overseas,” and a debate on “Has Industrialization Truly Improved Quality of Life?” moderated by Dr Krish Shankar, former group head of HR at Infosys.

Special honours were awarded to Dr Krish Shankar and Dr M H Raja, national president of NIPM, who received the “Trailblazing Tamil HR Leaders Award.”

Nimal Raghavan, an environmental activist and advocate for lake restoration, was honoured with the “Social Change Leadership Award.”

A large-scale interactive programme called “HR Parliament” was facilitated by senior HR professional Raju Arumugam, founder of LookingGlass HR Pvt Ltd, where 18 HR-related topics were deliberated, resulting in 180 recommendations. These insights will be compiled and published as a book to aid the progress of the HR community.

HR professionals Jebamalai and Karthik undertook a 1,500km cycling expedition from Bengaluru to Hosur via Palakkad and Chennai to celebrate the conference.
