Chennai Central-Palakkad Express train to stop at Morappur

Salem: Salem railway divisional manager U Subba Rao on Thursday said the railway board has accorded permission for stoppage of Chennai Central-Palakkad Express (train no 22651) and Palakkad-Chennai Central (train no. 22652) at Morappur railway station in Dharmapuri from Friday. “The trains will stop at Morappur for a period of six months until September 7, 2019.”

As per the schedule, the train bound to Palakkad will arrive at Morappur at 1.39am. Similarly, while the one heading to Chennai will arrive (at Morappur) at 11.29pm. “The trains will be stopped for a minute,” the DRM said.
