“I will inform the media if I join AIADMK again,” he said while predicting the decimation of the AMMK in the state after the local body elections. “The AMMK will not be there in the state after local body elections.”

Pointing out that he had worked for former chief minister J Jayalatitha in Srirangam assembly segment, Pugazhendhi said, “She won by a margin of 50,000 votes in that election. Palaniswami has repeated a similar victory this time.”

He also lauded Palaniswami saying he has been running the government, which was entrusted to him by Chinnamma (Sasikala), without any damage. “Similarly, Chinnamma gave the party’s deputy general secretary post to a person and everyone is aware what has happened to that post now.”

Talking about T T V Dhinakaran, Pugazhendhi said his supporters had only faced issues and lost everything. “MGR started the AIADMK and it reached many heights during its growth, which Palaniswami has been maintaining till date. Sasikala will like this and she will not like Dhinakaran’s activities.” He also slammed Dhinakaran fot stating that he was not loyal.
