On the first day of the three-day fest, Bollywood singer Ankit Tiwari entertained the viewers with his blockbuster numbers ‘Sunn Raha Hai Na Tu’, ‘Tu Hai Ki Nahi’ and ‘Teri Galliyan’. Noted Sufi singer Bhuwin Khursija also performed during the day.
Earlier, noted film personalities like filmmaker Imtiaz Ali, actors Aparshakti Khurana, Mithila Palkar, Sneha Menon Desai and anchor Nitin Baid shared their experiences about the challenges they faced while pursuing their goals.
The film industry personalities were a part of the entertainment panel discussion, which was one of the highlight events of the first day.
Likewise, the sports panel discussion involving cricket legend Kirti Azad and ex-cricketer turned commentator Murli Kartik was engrossing and informative for the viewers.
A live session with the cast and crew of Mirzapur — Ali Fazal, Harshita Gaur and Anjum Sharna — which is scheduled for Saturday, is keenly awaited. “Mirzapur is a popular action crime thriller web TV series hence several students have said it would be interesting to know from the actors about their experiences while working,” said member of the organising committee Abhishek Kapoor.
Earlier, on Thursday evening, former Union minister Sachin Pilot had shared his experiences of life interacting with the students while inaugurating the festival virtually. “A formal inauguration was held last evening (Thursday), but the events started from Friday,” said Abhishek.
