Woman dies outside SDM's office

GARHWA: An 80-year-old woman died of cold in

, used to beg outside the premises of the office.

Garhwa DC Neha Arora, however, refuted claims that the woman died of cold. "Her death was due to old age," the DC said.

Sources said the woman was sitting at the SDM office on Monday morning when she suddenly collapsed in the afternoon.

Garhwa SDM Rakesh Kumar said the woman died after vomiting. The SDM has given Rs 2,000 to the woman's family for cremation.
