- Woman dies in road accident in Hazaribag, brother critical

In a tragic incident on the Hazaribag-Simaria road, a 20-year-old woman, Nishu Kumari, lost her life after a speeding pick-up van collided with their two-wheeler. The accident, which occurred near Sultana village, also left her brother critically injured. While Nishu succumbed to her injuries during treatment at a local hospital, her brother was shifted to Ranchi for advanced medical care.
