GUMLA: A man living in Patna, whose wife lives in Germany but hails from Simdega in Jharkhand, on Thursday got separated legally after a virtual hearing during the ongoing mediation camp. The mediation camp was conducted by the district legal services authority (DLSA) from June 20 to 24 in Simdega.
Officials said Shashi Nag, a resident of Lachragarh village under Kolebira police station of Simdega married Shashank Kumar of Patna at the Ketungadham temple in Simdega in 2017. After some months, Nag shifted to Germany while her husband got a government job in Patna. Since both were apart from each other for three years, they mutually applied to get a divorce.
