Two women die by suicide

Bokaro: Two women, who were close friends and residents of a same village in Giridih district, died by suicide at Changosinga under Ghodthamba police outpost on Sunday. They were identified as Sabira Khatoon (30) and Sonia Khatoon (25). Sonia was married to one Mohammad Salahuddin Ansari. Police said that first Sonia consumed poison and a few hours later Sabira hanged herself from a fan at her house. SDPO Mukesh Kumar Mahato said bodies have been sent for autopsy and further probe is on to ascertain the cause behind the deaths. TNN
