HAZARIBAG: Two
police
stations in
Hazaribag
were
sealed
on Tuesday after an arrested criminal tested positive for covid-19 on Sunday, deputy commissioner Bhuvanesh Pratap Singh said.
“At the two police stations — Hazaribag Sadar and Korah — a total of 79 staff have been put under five-day quarantine. A criminal arrested by Hazaribag Sadar police

on Sunday was shifted to Korah police station after interrogation. The criminal from Matwari Talab locality tested positive and has been sent to Hazaribag Medical College and Hospital,” Singh said.
He added that the swab samples of all the staff will be drawn, depending on their condition after the completion of the quarantine period. Providing a break-up of the staff, he said, “Hazaribag Sadar police station has 67 staff and Korah has 12.” The DC said that the office of the SDPO (headquarters) has been temporarily converted into Hazaribag Sadar and Korah police stations till further notice.
