Two drown in Garhwa's Tulsi Damar mines

Two persons got drowned in a gorge of Tulsi Damar mines, which was full of rain water, in Nagar Untari police station area of the district, 40 km from the district headquarters at around 10am on Tuesday.

GARHWA: Two persons got drowned in a gorge of Tulsi Damar mines, which was full of rain water, in Nagar Untari police station area of the district, 40 km from the district headquarters at around 10am on Tuesday.
The deceased were identified as Mukesh Yadav (15) son of Sitaram Yadav and Ravi Yadav (20) son of Gudum Yadav (both of the same family) of Daheria village under Nagar Untari police station area.

Sources said that both had gone to take bath into the gorge as most people do.
Tulsi Damar mines was left abandoned after digging out limestones from there.
The mine gorge has been inundated with rain water.
Villagers living nearby use to take bath there. The bodies of the deceased were fished out after a two-hour search.
Police have sent the bodies to Garhwa Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
