Two Dead in Sahibganj Road Accident: E-Rickshaw Collision Kills Teen Driver and Elderly Passenger

Dumka: A 15-year-old boy and a 60-year-old man on Thursday died in a road accident on the Kotalpokhar main road in Sahibganj district. The incident occurred near Jiwanpur checkpoint under Sahibganj police station.According to eyewitnesses, the deceased minor, identified as Izazur, was an e-rickshaw driver. He was returning from Chandaur when another a speeding three-wheeler loaded with timber collided with it.The impact was so severe that the e-rickshaw got mangled. Izazur along with another elderly passenger, Potla Pahadia, died on the spot.Officer in-charge of Kotalpokhar police station Chandan Kumar Bhaiya stated FIR has been lodged and further probe is underway.
