RANCHI: The body of a 20-year-old boy was found in a forest near
TB sanatorium
under
Tupudana police station
on Sunday. Police suspect that the deceased, Sahbaj Ansari, was killed over some trivial issue. Two people have been arrested in connection with the case.
According to sources, Ansari was missing for the last four days, following which his parents lodged a complaint in the same police station. Police immediately launched a search operation and found Ansari's body in the forest area.
Officer in-charge (OC) Sujeet Roy said several marks of injury were found on the vital parts of the deceased's body, which indicates Ansari was hacked to death. However, the exact motive behind the murder is yet to be clear.
The OC said an FIR had been lodged in this connection, based on the statement of the deceased's father Sabir Ansari. Tauhid and Hassan Ansari were arrested after the duo accepted their role in the murder.
