Jharkhand: Three peddlers arrested with 2kg opium

CHATRA: Huntergunj police nabbed three smugglers and seized 2kg opium and Rs 1 lakh in cash from their possession during a vehicle checking drive, police said on Tuesday.

SDPO Avinash Kumar said, “Acting on a tip-off, police launched vehicle checking drive at Pratappur More on the Huntergunj-Gaya Road on Tuesday morning. Three men on a motorcycle were apprehended. They were identified as Pradeep Kumar Yadav, Mukesh Kumar Yadav and Vikas Kumar Yadav, residents of Salaiya village.”
