Three members of Kalu gang held
Ranchi: City police arrested three members of the notorious Kalu Lama gang on Thursday, based on intelligence reports. The arrests were made after the police received information that the gang was planning to commit a major crime in the city, police announced on Friday.Acting swiftly on the intel, the police team conducted a raid and apprehended the three gang members. During the search, the police confiscated arms and ammunition, as well as a Rs 50,000 cash and two mobile phones.Ranchi city SP Rajkumar Mehta address media said, "On Thursday evening police received information that some members of the Kalu Lama gang assembled with weapons near Munda Hotel on Boriya Road and were planning to commit some crime. Police raided the hotel and arrested the three members of the gang."The three have been identified as Ankit Kumar Singh, Deepak Kumar Singh and Ankush Kumar Singh.
