DALTONGANJ: People from weaker section of the society living on government land are worried about their household articles and animals as the administration is set to launch the anti encroachment drive.
People stop each other on streets and ask if his house is marked red and going to be demolished. Some law-abiding shopkeepers have already begun to remove their articles.

Last date for removal of encroachments is April 26. People are worried if the government will use bulldozers like the one in Islam Nagar and Naga Baba Khatal in Ranchi.
However sources in the administration said no inhuman approach would be taken to remove encroachments. "Palamu is hunger-struck and drought-hit. The administration cannot be blind to the suffering of the people here," said social activist B N R Gopi.
