School Bus Cleaner Crushed to Death by Tipper Truck on NH-39 in Daltonganj
Daltonganj: A 60-year-old cleaner-cum-helper of a school bus was crushed to death under its wheels when the stationary vehicle was hit by a tipper truck on NH-39 at Kadhwan in the district on Saturday. The deceased was identified as Nur Mohammad Ansari, a resident of Dandila village.
Officer of Rehla police station, Gulshan Birua, said that the speeding truck driver lost control and hit the parked school bus from behind. Ansari was standing near the bus and got crushed under its wheels. “The truck has been seized but the driver managed to flee,” he added.
